Chris did an excellent job restoring our half mile long driveway after a washout this summer. Before resurfacing he suggested some critical redevelopments of the culverts and ditches along the span. His work was exceptional and will pay long term dividends to our property value.
While redeveloping the driveway he also found time to install a French drain in the front of our historic house, moving water away from the foundation sills underneath the soil line.
Chris is thoughtful, thorough and trustworthy. We will use his services again

I needed some excavation work on the side of my townhouse so that heat pumps could be installed. There was a small hill with large rocks that had to be removed and the area had to be appropriately leveled. Chico Excavating was recommended to me and my wife and I were delighted with the completed project. Chris and his crew were knowledgeable, personable, and thorough. He kept us fully aware of the progress, made several important suggestions and completed the project as designed. The heat pumps were installed and in operation the day after Chris left!

Chris renovated our gravel driveway and the result was tremendous! While the finished product was photo worthy I was most impressed by how consultative Chris was about various aspects of the project that I had not considered. It was not a hard sell but he shared his knowledge of recent regulation changes and made some suggestions of how to ensure that we had a driveway that would look fantastic for the long term. Chris may be the hardest working guy in VT and is focused on producing excellent results. I recommend him highly!
